Push latches
Press the door, it springs open; the magnet or rubber head holds it shut. Surface-mount, quick-mount or recessed versions.

Self-locking push openers
A mechanical claw locks the door closed and releases it fully open on a push. For spring-free and push-open hinges.

Damped door openers
One push opens the door and any push closes it softly, on tall doors up to 2700 × 600 mm and 25 kg.

How push-to-open works, and which part you need.
A handle-less door needs two things: a hinge that does not pull the door shut, and a device that holds it closed and pushes it open. WEITE supplies both. On the hinge side use the 6920 spring-free hinge or the 7551 push-open hinge from the cabinet hinges family. On the device side there are three types.
Push latches
A push latch is a spring-loaded plunger with a magnetic or rubber head. Press the door, the plunger fires and the door swings open 40 to 50 mm; close it and the magnet holds it. Spring force is the main spec: 23 N for small doors, 30 N for standard doors, 35 to 40 N for tall or heavy doors. Mounting is the second: the 7427 and 7530 screw to the cabinet, the 7556 slides onto a rail for tool-free replacement, and the 7542 hides inside a Ø10 mm bore.
Self-locking push openers
Instead of a magnet, a mechanical claw grips a striker on the door. The door cannot be pulled open by a draught or a child, and one push releases it. Use these with spring-free hinges when a positive lock is wanted, and with the 7551 push-open hinge on kitchen fronts.
Door openers
For tall wardrobe doors up to 2700 mm, the 7555 opens the door automatically on a push and closes it softly from any angle; the 7554 mini version does the same for lighter doors. Both need spring-free hinges and mount on the top and bottom of the cabinet.
Ordering
Colours are light grey, black, white or silver depending on the model; packing is 200 to 1000 pieces per carton. One carton per item is the minimum. Ask for the hinge-and-latch pairing chart when you sample.
Questions distributors ask.
Which hinge goes with a push latch?
A spring-free hinge such as the 6920, so the door does not fight the latch. Rubber-head latches must not be used with spring-free hinges; use the magnetic version.
Magnetic or rubber head?
Magnetic heads hold the door shut on their own. Rubber heads are quieter and are used with a self-closing hinge that keeps the door shut.
How much force do I need?
23 N for small doors, 30 N for standard kitchen and wardrobe doors, 35 to 40 N for tall or heavy doors. Two latches on a wide door are better than one strong one.
Can the latch be hidden?
Yes. The 7542 fits inside a Ø10 × 71 mm bore in the side panel and shows only its head.
What is the minimum order?
One carton per item: 200 to 1000 pieces depending on the model.
