Lift-up stays, connectors and the rest of the carcass.

This family collects the fittings that are not hinges or slides but that every cabinet still needs. Four groups.

Lift-up and flap stays

Wall cabinets with a door that opens upward need a stay. For small flaps 150 to 300 mm high, the folding damped stays 7534 (up-flap) and 7533 (down-flap) give 50 to 70 N and a soft landing. For full-size wall-cabinet doors 330 to 500 mm high the 7532 mechanism replaces the hinges entirely: it holds the door at any angle, closes softly from 25° and is chosen by torque, which is door height times door weight. The 7206 and 7525 are free-stop stays for lighter doors; the 7201 and 7203 are plain gas springs rated 80,000 cycles. Ottoman beds and storage benches use the 7453, 7416 and 7417, which damp a heavy lid over its whole travel.

Connectors and cam locks

Flat-pack carcasses are held together by a bolt in one panel and a cam in the other. WEITE's 7039 and 7040 bolts come pre-assembled with a dowel or self-tapping thread in 32, 35 and 40 mm; the cams are zinc alloy (7037, 7036) or manganese steel (7033, 7035) in Ø10 and Ø12, gunmetal finish, with 7050 caps to cover them. Connectors pack 1000 to a bag.

Shelf supports

The 7047, 7048 and 7049 are minimal gunmetal pins for adjustable shelves; the 7046 and 7045 hide inside the shelf edge for a clean look on open shelving and slatted panels.

Brackets, casters and locks

Floating vanities sit on 7518 L-brackets up to 450 mm deep. The 7510 grommet passes cables through desks. Ottoman-bed pull-outs roll on 7019 silent casters. Cabinet hangers 7020 and 7021, the 7407 drawer lock and the 7434 dressing-table mirror hinge complete the group.

Questions distributors ask.

How do I choose the 7532 lift-up mechanism?

Multiply the door height in mm by the door weight in kg (including the handle). Pick the torque band that contains the result: 1200–1800, 1700–2250, 2100–3100 or 2500–4000 kg·cm.

Do the folding stays need a hinge as well?

Yes. The 7534 and 7533 work alongside a normal cup hinge; the 7532 mechanism replaces the hinges.

Which cam lock fits which bolt?

Ø12 cams (7037, 7033) and Ø10 cams (7036, 7035) both take the 7039 and 7040 bolts; the bolt length 32, 35 or 40 mm is chosen by panel thickness and hole distance.

Are the connectors sold loose?

No, in bags of 500 or 1000 with 8 to 100 bags per carton, one carton per item minimum.

Can the stays be fitted left or right?

The 7534, 7533 and 7453 fit either side. The 7417 is front-mounted and cannot be used with inset (full-crank) hinges.
